Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with a minimum of 50% marks.
- The degree can be a 3-year professional course after graduation or a 5-year integrated course.
- Possessing a Master of Laws (LLM) is considered a desirable qualification.
Work Experience
- Applicants must have at least 24 years of post-qualification executive experience.
- Out of the total experience, at least 16 years must have been dedicated to legal functions.
- Experience in large private sector firms or as an advocate in reputable law firms is also considered, provided specific turnover and CTC criteria are met.
Age Limit (as of 02-12-2026)
- The upper age limit for General category candidates is 52 years.
- Relaxation of 10 years is available for PwBD candidates.
- Ex-servicemen are eligible for age relaxation as per government regulations.
