KSRTC SWIFT Recruitment 2026: Overview
Kerala State Road Transport Corporation SWIFT (KSRTC SWIFT) has announced a significant recruitment drive to fill 1,040 vacancies for Driver and Conductor positions on a temporary daily-wage basis. This engagement is based on a one-year rank list and does not provide a claim for permanent appointment in KSRTC or any government body. Selected candidates will be required to sign a contract and provide a refundable security deposit.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of 22-10-2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 55 Years
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Driver: Must have passed 9th Standard. Requires a valid HMV License with Passenger and Goods endorsements. Minimum 7 years of total driving experience (3 years with HMV).
- Conductor: 10th Standard pass. Must hold a valid Conductor License (candidates can produce it within one month of appointment if not currently held).
- Driver-cum-Conductor: 10th Standard pass. Valid HMV license and 5 years of experience driving heavy passenger vehicles (30+ seats).
Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum 158 cm
- Chest: Minimum 76 cm (Normal)
- Vision: 6/6 Distant and 0.5 Near vision in each eye. Color blindness is disqualifying.

Salary and Service Terms
- Wage: Rs. 715 per 8-hour duty.
- Allowances: Overtime at Rs. 130/hour, Night allowance, and Kilometre/Collection batta.
- Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of Rs. 30,000 (interest-free) is required at the time of appointment.
- Service Bond: Selected candidates must serve for a minimum of 2 years (minimum 240 duties per year) to claim the deposit refund.
