KVASU Research Assistant Recruitment Overview

The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) has announced an opening for the position of Research Assistant on a temporary basis. This recruitment is part of the KVASU-EDF project titled “Climate-Smart Solutions to Mitigate Heat Stress Impacts on Productivity and Welfare of Dairy Cattle and Buffaloes.” The appointment is for a maximum period of 24 months, depending on the availability of project funds.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biostatistics.
• Alternatively, applicants with a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree are also eligible.
• Desirable: A minimum of one year of experience working in research projects is preferred.

Age Limit (as on 09-10-2026)

• The candidate should be below 45 years of age.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be paid a daily wage of ₹1,400, with a maximum monthly cap of ₹35,000.
