Indian Ports Association (IPA) Recruitment 2026 - Overview

The Indian Ports Association (IPA) has announced a new recruitment drive for the positions of Senior Consultant and Consultant on a contractual basis for a period of two years. This opportunity is aimed at professionals with advanced academic backgrounds in Economics, Public Policy, and Maritime fields to support the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Senior Consultant: Must hold a full-time Master's degree or higher from a recognized Indian or International University in Economics, Public Policy, Maritime, Trade, Transport Management, International Relations, or a related discipline.
• Consultant: Requires a full-time Master's degree or higher in Economics, Public Policy, Maritime studies, Trade, Transport Management, or International Relations.

Work Experience

• Senior Consultant: A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience acquired after completing the essential educational qualifications.
• Consultant: A minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience acquired after completing the essential educational qualifications.

Age Limit

• Candidates must be between 25 to 45 years of age to be eligible for these positions.

Salary and Remuneration

• Senior Consultant: ₹15,00,000/- per annum (Fixed for the initial 2-year tenure).
• Consultant: ₹12,00,000/- per annum (Fixed for the initial 2-year tenure).
