DRDO VRDE JRF Recruitment 2026 Overview

Vehicles Research & Development Organization (DRDO VRDE) has issued an official hiring notification for 5 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) vacancies in Mechanical Engineering. Educational Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in First Division with a valid GATE score (2024, 2025, or 2026).
• OR M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as per Government regulations.

• No application fee is required for any category of applicants.

Salary / Stipend Details

• Selected candidates for the Junior Research Fellow role will receive a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs. 37,000.
