PAU Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 Overview

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana has announced an opening for the position of Research Fellow. This recruitment is being conducted on a contractual basis for an initial duration of six months or until the project concludes. Eligible candidates with a background in Soil Science or Agriculture are encouraged to submit their applications through the offline channel before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess a B.Sc., B.Sc. (Agriculture), or B.Sc. (Forestry) with at least 60% marks or an OCPA of 6.0/10.0.
• Applicants should also have an M.Sc. in Soil Science with at least 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.5/10.0.
• Priority will be given to candidates who have qualified for CSIR-UGC or ICAR NET.
• Applicants with a Ph.D. in the relevant field are also eligible to apply.

Salary Details

• With NET Qualification: Rs. 31,000/- per month (fixed) + 16% HRA.
• Without NET Qualification: Rs. 25,000/- per month (fixed) + 16% HRA.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the Research Fellow position will be based on a personal interview. Shortlisting will be performed according to the academic merits and experience of the applicants.
