Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following qualification requirements as per NMC guidelines:
- Professor / Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty with requisite teaching and research experience and publications as per TEQ regulations.
- Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject. Candidates must have completed one year as a Senior Resident. For specific pre-clinical departments, MSc with PhD (Medical) may be considered if medical teachers are unavailable.
- Senior Resident: MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the relevant specialty.
- Tutor: MBBS degree.
Registration: All medical qualifications must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council. Candidates from other states must register with the Telangana Council within one week of selection.
Age Limit & Salary
Remuneration is consolidated and paid monthly as per the table below. Age limits are calculated as of March 31, 2026.

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted based on the following criteria:
- For Assistant Professors and Senior Residents, marks obtained in the PG degree examination will be the primary selection factor.
- Other faculty roles will be evaluated based on NMC and TEQ eligibility norms.
- The rule of reservation will be applied as per Telangana state government guidelines.
- Preference will be given to local candidates from Telangana.
