ACTREC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2026 Overview

The Advanced Centre for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) has announced a notification for the recruitment of a Scientific Assistant on a contractual basis. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can participate in the walk-in interview scheduled for September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• M.Sc. in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences (such as Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, or Microbiology).
• Alternatively, M.Tech or B.Tech in Biotechnology is also acceptable.
• Desirable: Candidates possessing one year of work experience in a Cancer Registry will be preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
• Age relaxations may be granted to candidates based on their prior relevant experience.

The selection of the candidate will be based on the following stages:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Test
• Written Test / Assessment
• Personal Interview
